HELP YOU
If your friends and family are looking for ways to be more involved in your quitting journey, particularly as you return to a social setting, consider providing them with tips to help you:

Convey your hardships to them and let them know that quitting can be challenging on both mind and body but stay convinced that it is a step for the better.

Let them know that your mood swings are just a temporary part of the process.

Request them to check on you about how you are feeling, regardless of how successful your quitting journey turns out to be.

Convey all the health and financial benefits of quitting smoking. Then, request them to help you come up with a rewards plan for every quitting milestone you reach.

Seek their help to distract yourself from thinking about tobacco. If you're hanging out together, pick a place where none of you would be tempted to smoke.

Ask them to celebrate with you as you reach a milestone. Share your victory with the friends and family members who support you.
