VISION: A Tobacco Free Flagler County MISSION: The Tobacco Free Flagler Partnership is a community based coalition mobilized to impact policy and system change, prevent youth initiation and reduce the use of tobacco products.

The tobacco industry continues to target the youth in our county. The CDC has declared a youth epidemic on vaping and our partnership is working hard to educate students on the danger of the products and prevent youth initiation into tobacco use.

Local Initiatives
Local policy Initiatives include Zoning-Creating a safe and healthy community for children by setting a maximum number of locations where tobacco and nicotine products can be sold. Tobacco Free Public Spaces -We are working on enacting policies restricting tobacco use in the public spaces (parks and beaches in Flagler County). K-12 Public Schools-Comprehensive tobacco free school policies can reduce the risk of life-long addiction in youth to deadly products.

Civic Communications is the state of Florida grantee responsible for the tobacco prevention programs of Flagler county. These programs support tobacco-free partnerships and Students Working Against Tobacco.
