The Tobacco Free Bradford Partnership coordinates tobacco prevention efforts throughout Bradford County. The primary goal of the group is to create local tobacco-free policies. We envision a Bradford County where all residents have a fair chance at a healthy future—free from nicotine addiction. Our mission is to mobilize the community and advance local policies that will help end nicotine addiction, protect children, and improve public health for generations to come.
SWAT is Florida's statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate, and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize Big Tobacco. SWAT is a united movement of empowered youth working towards a tobacco-free future. Currently, there are two SWAT clubs in Bradford County. Those clubs are located at Bradford High School and Bradford Middle School.

Though there is no safe level of exposure to secondhand smoke, more than one-third (39%) of local youth (ages 11-17) report being exposed.
