The Liberty County Community Tobacco Free Partnership is comprised of agencies representing many different sectors of the community including non-profit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, community leadership groups, and community members committed to establishing a tobacco free county. We have 3 SWAT (Students Working Against Tobacco) clubs. Locations include the Hosford School, W.R Tolar K-8 school and Liberty County High School. If you are interested in joining SWAT please call Megan 850-674-5645 Ext 5013
Students Who Live With Someone Who Smokes Cigarettes, All Middle and High School Students, in year 2024 Liberty County 23.8% , compared to 15.1% statewide.
Liberty County's initiative is to focus on cessation support throughout the community, youth prevention and addressing tobacco use in more rural areas.
