Partnership Information
The Tobacco-Free Workgroup works to decrease exposure to secondhand smoke, tobacco & nicotine use in Miami-Dade County. It is committed to creating policy changes to minimize tobacco use and promote healthier learning, working & living environments.
County SWAT Information
Students Working Against Tobacco is Florida’s statewide youth organization to mobilize, educate, and equip Florida youth to revolt against Big Tobacco. For more information on the county SWAT Chapter or to join a club, please contact 305-278-0442.

The current cigarette smoking rate in Miami-Dade for adults is 12.0% and 2.1% for youth. In Miami-Dade, the youth electronic vaping product use rate is 14.8% and 3.8% for adults. In the county, the use of vaping products continues to rise each year.
