Partnership Information

The Tobacco-Free Workgroup works to decrease exposure to secondhand smoke, tobacco & nicotine use in Miami-Dade County. It is committed to creating policy changes to minimize tobacco use and promote healthier learning, working & living environments.

County SWAT Information

The current cigarette smoking rate in Miami-Dade for adults is 12.0% and 2.1% for youth. In Miami-Dade, the youth electronic vaping product use rate is 14.8% and 3.8% for adults. In the county, the use of vaping products continues to rise each year.
