Partnership Information

The mission of the Tobacco Free Columbia Partnership is to advance policies that will help end nicotine addiction in Columbia County.

County SWAT Information

SWAT is Florida's statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize Big Tobacco. SWAT is a united movement of empowered youth working towards a tobacco free future.

As of 2020, Columbia County has an adult smoking rate of 23% with the state average being 16%. The youth rates, ages 11-17, current rate of use for cigarettes, cigars and smokeless is 6.3% while electronic vaping rates are 23.2%.

About Us

The Tobacco Free Columbia Partnership is a coalition of community members actively working to reduce youth access and exposure to all tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and other vaping devices.
