The Tobacco Free Partnership of Sarasota County is a community-based group working to empower and mobilize communities to reduce tobacco-related death and disease throughout Sarasota County.
SWAT is Florida's statewide youth organization working to mobilize, educate, and equip Florida youth to revolt against and de-glamorize Big Tobacco. There are currently 7 SWAT clubs located throughout Sarasota County. Visit www.swatsc.com for more!
The 2020 Florida Youth Tobacco Survey data reveals that youth in Sarasota County use tobacco items including vapes, are exposed to secondhand cigarette and vape smoke, and vape on school property more than the state average for ages 11-17.
